I hate that I am very ocd. I cannot handle a rug edge being pushed up, a bed not being made, dishes in the sink overnight, the list goes on and on. I wish I could let the little things go more and come back to them. I know I lose a lot of play time with Eden because I feel I have to get these things finished or life wont go on.

Gabe is coming home!!!!!!!!! I still have no idea for how long, but just the fact that we can actually live together in a house, not a hotel room, even if its just for a few days, well thats a big deal for me! One week and I cant wait!<3

Eden's Attitude!

I have pictures but I am currently at a loss as to where my cord for my camera is. I just wanted to do a quick post about Eden. She is no longer my sweet little newborn. She cracks me up, she has such an attitude lately. She likes to pull on my necklaces and if I take them away she screams, and kicks her feet really hard on the floor. I usually just give in and give it back to her so she can slobber all over it...yuck! She is growing so quick. She rolls all over the place and scoots around. She is so much fun and even though she is a bit cranky at times I love it because she is starting to get so much personality. I will try to get some pics up soon!

This post is dedicated to my husband. He is in the USMC, and because of the conflict of being too busy, or no access to a computer, he has not even seen our blog yet! I just wanted to take a minute to blog about everything he goes through on a day to day basis, so I too stop forgetting! If I don't stop and think about the fact that he didn't choose not to see me for six months, I find myself getting mad at him. :( I also still cannot believe with everything we see on the news and in the papers that so many men are willing to give up their "real" lives still to serve our country. On Gabes boot camp graduation day there was somewhere around 600 new graduating Marines, and that is almost a weekly occurence. Ok, anyway on to the lives they live! He doesn't make any choices for himself, and we thought that would end after boot camp. He has to sign out, and have someone leave with him if he just wants to go somewhere to grab something to eat. Keep in mind, this is on a Military base, he is not even asking to go out in town. He is in school 8-10 hours a day, learing everything from survival techiniques, to skills that are unique to his job. He is Aviation Ordnance. We got married on January 24th, and left each other the 25th. I have not see him since then. He has been shuffled from California, to Florida, to North Carolina. He will be deployed, the way the world is going, if they are in the service there is no point in even sitting around thinking that is might not happen to your Marine, soldier, ect, its going to happen! He has done exceptionally well though, he is moving up to Lance Corporal in May, he started out as they all do, a Private, so he has moved up rank twice in less than a year! I just wanted to post this to let Gabe know (when he does finally see our blog) how proud of him I am, and how much I love him, and to say sorry that you have to deal with my moods when I blame you for things you cannot change! I will always support you!!

I thought I would post a few more pictures of Eden in her spring dress. It has been so warm in Vernal lately, until tonight. My Mom's temperature gage in her car yesterday said it was 70 degrees. :) It is supposed to snow and rain this week and then stay warm and really change seasons, we can hope right!

Pierced ears & Painted toes!

Yes I did it. I know so many people will think I am terrible, but I pierced Eden's ears...and I love them! My parents and my inlaws have both voiced their unapproving opinions, but Gabe and I made the decision together that we wanted them pierced while she was young. I remember getting my ears pierced in third grade and I never left them alone. They were infected a lot because I was constantly changing them, and touching them. I got hers pierced on Friday, March 20th. I had them done here in Vernal at Impulse salon. I had heard great things about the girl there. Eden did really well in spite of it all. She did pierce one at a time, which I was a little scared about but it turned out ok. She cried pretty hard, I wont even lie about that, but it all lasted about fifteen seconds and then she forgot all about it. I think I was worse off than she was! (karma) I also painted her toe nails today! This is her second time for that, her Aunt Gretchen painted them once too. I painted them Rocker Pink and they look lovely, even though she kicked the entire time they turned out pretty good. All in all it was a busy weekend for my little Diva in training, you can see her earrings in some of the pictures!

One other update...Gabe is not going to California, It was probably bad luck to post that before it was final. :( He is heading to North Carolina until June, then we will have our final station. It might be Cali, it might be NC, who knows whre it might be!!!

So...I have the official update! Mirimar California is Gabe's next station. He has a 6 week c-school there April 1st-June 2nd. His awesome buddy, Staff Sgt Whitlock is also trying to get him home within the next ten days until his school begins. After c-school he has an 85% chance of getting Mirimar as his permanent station. Everyone pray for us, we really want this so we can be close to friends and family.
